Beauty Adventures Of A Lifetime

Yes!
New beauty adventures of a lifetime are
here and a lot of brands have their
Fall / Winter launches starting soon.
Check these babies out because they're just a dream away. Diamonds.
I feel my heart beating and finally I feel alive again...

Smashbox Studio Skin 15 Hour Foundation, $42
Shop Ulta Beauty here.

We cannot get enough of this oil-free, paraben-free new hydrating 15 hour long wear foundation. Not only will it completely cover any blemishes and hyperpigmention marks, but it will also blur imperfections for a photograph ready, high definition makeup look. This Studio Skin makes my all time top ten foundation list, just FYI.

Smashbox Try It 4 Pc. Mascara Kit, $24
Shop Ulta Beauty here.

This mascara set is amazing. Not only do you get all three formulas of their water resistant mini mascaras, but this primer is the bee's knees of mascara primers. If you've ever thought you had short lashes, try this primer. I rocked it over the weekend and people kept asking me how I got my lashes so thick and long. Well, here's your answer. For a super plumped lash look, apply two coats of this primer under any of your favorite mascaras. You can thank me later.

Pur Cosmetics Love Your Selfie 2 Palette, $42
Shop Ulta Beauty here.

Adventure out of your beauty box for this new-to-Fall palette launch. Inspired by the Selfie 1 Palette which is perfect for traveling or vacations, the Selfie 2 boasts a different range of deeper fall shadows as well as two different lip looks. Wear the lip crayon and the gloss layered or separately for two completely different lip looks. You can also use the darker shadows for a soft liner look when applied with an angled eyeliner brush. Or a q-tip. Q-Tips rock for achieving a subtle, smoky eyeliner look. Let's take a moment to reflect on the beautiful gold and red shadows in this portable palette. We just love them to pieces.

Miracle Skin Transformer Miracle Revival Mud, $38
Shop Kohl's Beauty here.

While this miracle mud mask might not be new to the brand, it's been written about in multiple bridal magazines as the top mud mask to use before your wedding. Not getting married? It's okay. You do not need to show a marriage license in fact to purchase the product. A unique mud that firms, evens skin tone, cleans out pores and reduces redness, this mask will leave your skin feeling perfectly hydrated and clean. It's also amazing because it doesn't completely dry on the skin, which makes it super easy to take off. Also, remember to rinse your face will cold water once you're done taking it off completely. This step will help to close the pores.
We're obsessed with it to put it mildly.

Vita Liberata Trystal Minerals in Bronze 02, $55
Shop Ulta Beauty here.

A 2015 Cosmopolitan Beauty Award winner, Vita Liberata's Trystal Minerals are the first and only self-tanning powder mineral bronzer on the market. They're also now available at Ulta Beauty. Yay! While I love using it to bronze the face and decollete after I foundation, these oil-free minerals can also be applied right after you moisturize. Have you ever tried a contour that will last up to five days after applied? Look no further and I guarantee you'll find your tanning adventure of a lifetime. Also, you get quite a bit of product in this. With that being said, a pro tip of mine is to also try it as an eyeshadow on the eyelid and gently sweep it along the lower lash line. Mascara your lashes and then you're out the door in the morning in under five minutes flat.

Dermablend Blurring Mousse Camo, $38
Shop Dillard's here.

If you're looking for an oil-free foundation infused with salicylic acid for keeping acne and oiliness at bay, then you've got to try this new Dermablend foundation which just launched. When applied and stippled on with a beauty blender, this mousse will fill in indentations from age, large pore size, acne and chicken pox scarring. Boasting an SPF of 25, this foundation is also matte and feels like a perfect high-potency primer. Can you see how it covers all the surfaces of that rock? It will in fact do the same thing to your face. In a true the General fashion, I don't always endorse foundations, but when I do... this one totally makes the top ten list of all time favorites. Heh. Heh...

Enjoy. Adventure with your beauty products. Hands down, adventuring is the only way you're sure to find something that works well with your skin type. Xo. Xo.

Send My Love To Lipsticks

You told me you're ready...
If you're ready, I'm ready to show you some of my new fave lipsticks!
I'm not giving you up but I've forgiven all of my bad
beauty buying decisions in the process.

Lipstick Queen in Let Them Eat Cake, $50
Shop Ulta here.

Ugh, we cannot get enough of this rose gold color. It's also great to put in the center of darker colors for a pop of ombre brilliance to any cool tone lipstick.

Smashbox Be Legendary Matte Lipstick in Publicist, $21
Shop Ulta here.

Hello, color. There you are and you are in fact a fab statement lip on basically any skin tone. Berries + matte = fantastic Summer staying power. Michelle Obama arms.

Cargo Cosmetics Lipstick in Kyoto, $22
Shop Kohl's here.

Kyoto, you're my girl. You not only stay on a super long time as a satin lipstick, but you also look gorgeous as a statement lip on light skin tones.

Balm Cosmetics Meet Matte Hughes
Liquid Lipstick in Trustworthy, $17
Shop Kohl's here.

Hey, Trustworthy. I see you over there eyeballing me down to have a 1990's dark nude lip renaissance festival. If this product gets too drying throughout the day as it is a long wear formula, tote around some lip balm to top it off for moisture. Zoolander says that moisture is the essence of wetness anyway... And during these Summer months, we totes agree....

Periscoped The Makeup Show: Beauty Faves Including Twinmedix, Model In A Bottle, Crown Brush & Eve Pearl

We're all trying to learn this Periscope thing, bro.

Then Katch.me ended and periscopers as we know it are all scrambling to figure out a way to save our hard-worked videos that are disappearing like Snapchat. Amazingly enough, today Periscope was saved to my phone under videos and I could actually watch the video (unlike other times), which was then able for me to save to my Google Drive. I then uploaded this bad boy to my YouTube account. The verdict is still out if you can upload to Twitter in the same fashion. Anywho, try it as one of these might be your solution to saving your scopes. Typically Scopes are too long to email to yourself from your Smartphone.

Allrightythen...

Giphy
Apparently because YouTube picked up parts of my songs as the background for this Scope, which I showed you in this YouTube.... the above video is blocked in 243 countries.

So click here if you'd like to see this YouTube / Scope of mine.

Aargh.

It's not like I'm not promoting Meghan Trainor's "No" video in my previous blog post so that she gets paid per click. Just sayin'. Erstwhile trying to keep it classy.

;o)

Follow me on Periscope... click here.

Enjoy. The debacle katch left us Scopers having
to deal with in using our own videos for future use.

Periscope, get on it!

I hear background music in all kinds of Scopes I watch.
Which if you're picking up what I'm throwing down,
we can't post our Scopes to YouTube.

#beautyscopes #beautyscopers

Oh ma goodness. So you can still watch this YouTube video through Internet Explorer but apparently not Google Chrome browser. The epic saga which disturbs all still rages on...

UPDATE, y'all!

Giphy

Huge news. Periscope now can permanently save your videos for replay! But you have to go into settings and make sure it's marked that way. Hallelujah. However, if you're a blogger, you are still not able to embed people's scopes into your posts. This has been your J official social media update. You're welcome!
